A strange epiphany

"You know, bevel up above the vein, almost parallel to the tail and just slide into it. It's not really a stabbing motion, but more like playing pool?"

"How do you insert the needle without pressing against the plugger?"

"Oh, it's more like a rolling motion in the right hand...."

I was learning how to do IV today from the in-house animal expert Cindy. Man, she's a big-hearted person and a wonderful teacher.

But weirdly, somehow this concept clicks with the approach to singing as well.

It's not a push. With the right amount of energy, place the sound forward with lots of space and just keep turning the sound forward.

Strange..=)
